In April i'm off to Chicago for the 2010 International Quilt Festival!
I am so excited i can't stand it.
They are offering a ton of classes and i am signed up for 2 - Machine quilting and piping, and a "Scrapbook Quilt" class with Pam Holland. It's an all day class, and I just can't wait. it was super cheap- only like $60 to sign up.
I originally signed up for a class with the super famous KaffeFassett - But the class was all lecture and no sewing... I really wish I could have taken both- but they are both at the same time so i had to choose. If you are not familiar with his work- you should check him out. He is a textile guru.

Hi there! I saw your comment on my blog. We did not sew in Kaffe's class, only cut and designed. I was a little nervous about how that was going to take the entire day, but it did! I learned SO much from him and Liza! Did you enjoy your class?

Yes! I took 2 classes and just loved them both. An amazing experience! Really sad I didn't meet Kaffe, but oh well... I will try and take his class next time!
