In April i'm off to Chicago for the 2010 International Quilt Festival!
I am so excited i can't stand it.

They are offering a ton of classes and i am signed up for 2 - Machine quilting and piping, and a "Scrapbook Quilt" class with Pam Holland. It's an all day class, and I just can't wait. it was super cheap- only like $60 to sign up.


I originally signed up for a class with the super famous KaffeFassett - But the class was all lecture and no sewing... I really wish I could have taken both- but they are both at the same time so i had to choose. If you are not familiar with his work- you should check him out. He is a textile guru.

I would really like to use my wedding china soon. I have a full set. I think 10 or 12 place settings. This beautiful china is all still new in the box and sitting in my garage.

This June we will be married for 10 years. 10 years I have carted this boat load of dinner ware around and have never opened a box... I think for my anniversary I would i like finally eat off of it. The sad thing is, I don't have a dinning room table any more. It won't be the same, but I would like to at least get some of it out of the box.
